Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the South Iron Panthers (Annapolis, MO) and the visiting Fredericktown Black Cats (Fredericktown, MO), saw South Iron's basketball squad overcome Fredericktown by a tally of 60-41.

With the victory, South Iron improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host St. Paul Lutheran (Farmington, MO) to confront the Giants in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Giants come into the challenge with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Black Cats confront the West County Bulldogs (Leadwood, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 15. Fredericktown will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 79-37 non-league win over Ste. Genevieve (Ste. Genevieve, MO).
