The Randolph-Henry Statesmen basketball team (Charlotte Court House, VA), was overwhelmed 37-13 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Gretna Hawks (Gretna, VA)
The Hawks now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host William Campbell for a Dogwood battle on Tuesday, December 13. Gretna will confront a Generals team coming off a 44-14 non-league win over Rustburg (Rustburg, VA). The Generals record now stands at 2-2.
The Statesmen (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA). The Raiders come into the James River battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Amelia County trounced Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA), 50-13, in a non-league battle.
