The Madison Patriots basketball team (Marshall, NC), dropped 46-26 in Monday's league battle with the host Mitchell Mountaineers (Bakersville, NC)
The Mountaineers now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Buncombe for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 14. Mitchell will confront a Black Hawks team coming off a 62-26 league loss to A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC). The Black Hawks record now stands at 4-3.
The Patriots (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Mountaineers come into the non-league battle with a 0-8 record. In their last battle, Tuscola dropped by Franklin (Franklin, NC), 47-19, in a league battle.
