Tennessee High School Basketball - Sequatchie County fells Marion County

December 12, 2022: Jasper, TN 37347

Sequatchie County Indians (Dunlap, TN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Marion County Warriors (Jasper, TN), 43-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sequatchie County upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Indians host Grundy County (Coalmont, TN) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 4-4.

Next up, the Warriors play the Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences Patriots (Chattanooga, TN) in a 2A District 4 bout, on Thursday, December 15. Marion County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 73-12 non-league loss to Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN).
