The South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Fike Demons (Wilson, NC), 30-27 in Monday's non-league test.
The Trojans (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Triton (Erwin, NC). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Triton held off Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC), 43-12, in a non-league outing.
The Demons now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to West Johnston for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 13. Fike will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 26-12 non-league loss to Cleveland (Clayton, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-3.
