In Monday's non-league outing, the Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors (San Jose, CA) basketball squad nipped the host Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA), by a margin of 17-15.

The Aztec Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Woodside (Woodside, CA). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Woodside got by Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA), 36-19, in a non-league outing.
