The Shining Light Academy Knights basketball squad scored 55 points and limited the host Lee Park Prep Knights to 34 in the Knights non-league win on Monday.

With the win, Shining Light Academy upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 9-0. Calvary Day School won 90-39 in their recent non-league bout against Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Knights play the Liberty Preparatory Christian Patriots (Mooresville, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Lee Park Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 45-35 league win over Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC).
