The Marlboro County Bulldogs (Bennettsville, SC) basketball nipped the host South Florence Bruins (Florence, SC), 37-33 in Monday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Fighting Scots go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Scotland got by Hoke County (Raeford, NC), 66-41, in a non-league test.
The Bruins now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Darlington for a non-league battle on Monday, December 19. South Florence will confront a Falcons team coming off a 31-30 non-league win over Wilson (Florence, SC). The Falcons record now stands at 6-1.
