The Afton Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Commerce Tigers to 55 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ketchum for a Lucky Seven contest on Friday, December 15. Afton will battle a Warriors team coming off a 82-47 non-league win over Oklahoma Union (South Coffeyville, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Commerce moves to 1-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to Nowata (Nowata, OK) to face the Ironmen in a non-league match on Friday, December 15. The Ironmen enter the match with a record of 1-5. Nowata lost 52-40 in their recent league match against Chelsea (Chelsea, OK)
