The Alexander Cougars basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting New Manchester Jaguar to 65 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newnan for a AAAAAA Region 5 contest on Friday, December 15. Alexander will battle a Cougars team coming off a 68-50 league loss to Douglas County (Douglasville, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-4.

The Jaguar (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Duluth (Duluth, GA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record.
