Osceola Chieftains (Osceola, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Amery Warriors (Amery, WI), 49-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Osceola upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Chieftains travel to Baldwin-Woodville (Baldwin, WI) to clash with the Blackhawks in a Middle Border bout on Friday, December 15. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Baldwin-Woodville won 46-41 in their recent league bout against Ellsworth (Ellsworth, WI)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Prescott Cardinals (Prescott, WI) in a Middle Border bout, on Friday, December 15. Amery will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 69-65 league loss to Altoona (Altoona, WI).
