Augusta Red Devils (Augusta, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Scott Charter (Scott, AR), 63-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Augusta upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Red Devils travel to DeWitt (DeWitt, AR) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the play the Midland Mustangs (Pleasant Plains, AR) in a 1A Region 5 bout, on Friday, December 15. Scott Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 60-59 non-league win over Nemo Vista (Center Ridge, AR).
