Baldwin Braves (Milledgeville, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Swainsboro Tigers (Swainsboro, GA), 80-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Baldwin upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Spalding (Griffin, GA) to play the Jaguars in a AAAA Region 2 bout on Friday, December 15. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 5-3. Spalding won 74-49 in their recent league bout against Howard (Macon, GA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Dublin Fighting Irish (Dublin, GA) in a A D1 Region 2 bout, on Friday, December 15. Swainsboro will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Fighting Irish come into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 76-56 non-league win over Twiggs County (Jeffersonville, GA).
