The Enid Plainsmen basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Bartlesville Bruins to 45 in the Plainsmen league triumph on Tuesday.

The Plainsmen now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union for a 6A District 3 contest on Monday, December 18. Enid will meet a Redhawks team coming off a 65-52 league loss to Owasso (Owasso, OK). The Redhawks record now stands at 5-1.

The Bruins (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Edmond Memorial (Edmond, OK). The Bulldogs enter the 6A District 3 contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Edmond Memorial triumphed over Edmond Santa Fe (Edmond, OK), 47-45, in a non-league contest.
