The Bedford Bulldogs basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Southwest Valley to 48 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sidney for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 14. Bedford will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 55-45 league win over Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA). The Cowboys record now stands at 2-4.

The (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against East Union (Afton, IA). The Eagles come into the Pride of Iowa contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, East Union triumphed over Twin Cedars (Bussey, IA), 75-32, in a non-league contest.
