The Cherokees now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sequoyah for a non-league battle on Monday, December 18. McMinn County will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 44-42 league win over Loudon (Loudon, TN). The Chiefs record now stands at 7-3.

The Panthers (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against Sequatchie County (Dunlap, TN). The Indians come into the 2A District 4 battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Sequatchie County dropped by Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences (Chattanooga, TN), 47-42, in a league battle.
