In Tuesday's league match, the host Broadway Gobblers basketball team scored a tight 65-63 triumph over the Rockbridge County Wildcats.
In their next game, the Gobblers meet the Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) in a Valley match, on Friday, December 15. Broadway will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Trailblazers enter the match with a 5-0 record after their 73-32 league win over William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA).
