North Carolina High School Basketball - Perquimans knocked off by Camden County

December 12, 2023: Camden, NC 27921

The Camden County Bruins basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Perquimans Pirates to 49 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bruins now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cape Hatteras for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 13. Camden County will meet a Hurricanes team coming off a 51-30 non-league loss to Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 2-5.

The Pirates (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ocracoke (Ocracoke, NC). The Dolphins enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Ocracoke ran past Southside (Chocowinity, NC), 77-46, in a non-league contest.
