The Davis County Mustangs basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the host Cardinal Comets to 48 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarke for a South Central contest on Friday, December 15. Davis County will battle a Indians team coming off a 57-52 non-league win over North Polk (Alleman, IA). The Indians record now stands at 5-2.

The Comets (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Albia (Albia, IA). The Blue Demons come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Albia triumphed over Centerville (Centerville, IA), 60-53, in a non-league contest.
