Taconic Hills Titans (Craryville, NY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Catskill Cats (Catskill, NY), 49-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Taconic Hills upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Titans host Greenville (Greenville, NY) to play the Spartans in a Section 2 Patroon bout on Friday, December 15. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 3-1. Greenville won 81-41 in their recent league bout against Germantown (Germantown, NY)

Next up, the Cats play the Cairo-Durham Mustangs (Cairo, NY) in a Section 2 Patroon bout, on Friday, December 15. Catskill will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 76-59 league loss to Hudson (Hudson, NY).
