Kentucky High School Basketball - Larue County tipped by Caverna

The Caverna Colonels basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Larue County Hawks to 72 in the Colonels league triumph on Tuesday.

The Colonels now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Green County for a District 18 contest on Friday, December 15. Caverna will meet a Dragons team coming off a 78-53 non-league win over Marion County (Lebanon, KY). The Dragons record now stands at 2-4.

The Hawks (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hart County (Munfordville, KY). The Raiders enter the District 18 contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Hart County nudged Meade County (Brandenburg, KY), 55-53, in a non-league contest.
