Northridge Jaguars (Tuscaloosa, AL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Chelsea Hornets (Chelsea, AL), 51-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Northridge upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Sipsey Valley (Buhl, AL) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 5-4. Sipsey Valley lost 41-38 in their recent league bout against American Christian Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL)

Next up, the Hornets play the Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Chelsea will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 98-53 non-league win over Blount (Eight Mile, AL).
