The Clarendon Lions basketball team (Clarendon, AR), was overwhelmed 65-33 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Marked Tree Indians (Marked Tree, AR)
The Indians now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley View for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 14. Marked Tree will confront a Blazers team coming off a 74-43 non-league win over Newport (Newport, AR). The Blazers record now stands at 6-4.
The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Bradford (Bradford, AR). The Eagles come into the 1A Region 5 battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, Bradford trounced Midland (Pleasant Plains, AR), 65-42, in a league battle.
