The Midway Green Wave (Kingston, TN) basketball crushed the host Coalfield Yellow Jackets (Coalfield, TN), 73-40 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Green Wave (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Monterey (Monterey, TN). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Monterey was trounced by Trousdale County (Hartsville, TN), 59-48, in a league test.

The Yellow Jackets now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Wartburg Central for a 1A District 3 test on Friday, December 15. Coalfield will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 68-66 non-league loss to Rockwood (Rockwood, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-6.
