Mississippi High School Basketball - Collins can't hold off Heidelberg

The Heidelberg Oilers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Collins Tigers to 53 in the Oilers league victory on Tuesday.

The Oilers now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Quitman for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Heidelberg will battle a Panthers team coming off a 76-68 non-league win over West Jones (Laurel, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 8-1.

The Tigers (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Forrest (Hattiesburg, MS). The Eagles come into the 2A Region 8 contest with a 6-3 record.
