Fyffe Red Devils (Fyffe, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Collinsville Panthers (Collinsville, AL), 68-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Fyffe upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Gaston (Gadsden, AL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 2A Area 12 bout on Friday, December 15. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Gaston won 55-42 in their recent league bout against Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Cherokee County Warriors (Centre, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Collinsville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record.
