The ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars (Oneida, IL) basketball nipped the host Cuba/Spoon River Valley Wildcats (Cuba, IL), 70-65 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cougars (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Peoria Heights (Peoria Heights, IL). The Patriots go into the Prairieland test with a 2-5 record.
The Wildcats now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Peoria Christian for a Inter County test on Friday, December 15. Cuba/Spoon River Valley will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 57-32 league win over Delavan (Delavan, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 6-3.
