In Tuesday's league outing, the Dardanelle Sand Lizards (Dardanelle, AR) basketball squad edged the visiting Waldron Bulldogs (Waldron, AR), by a count of 49-42.
The Sand Lizards (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Ozark (Ozark, AR). The Hillbillies go into the 4A Region 4 outing with a 8-8 record. In their last outing, Ozark held off Mena (Mena, AR), 61-25, in a league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Pottsville for a 4A Region 4 outing on Friday, December 15. Waldron will clash with a Apaches squad coming off a 58-44 league loss to Subiaco Academy (Subiaco, AR). The Apaches record now stands at 4-4.
