North Scott Lancers (Eldridge, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Davenport Central Blue Devils (Davenport, IA), 73-59 in a league bout.

With the win, North Scott upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Lancers host Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA) to play the Spartans in a Mississippi bout on Friday, December 15. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Pleasant Valley won 51-49 in their recent league bout against Davenport West (Davenport, IA)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Bettendorf Bulldogs (Bettendorf, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Davenport Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 69-42 non-league win over Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA).
