Hamady Hawks (Flint, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Genesee Christian Soldiers (Burton, MI), 63-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hamady upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Bentley (Burton, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a Genesee Area - Red bout on Friday, December 15. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Bentley lost 77-40 in their recent league bout against Beecher (Flint, MI)

Next up, the Soldiers play the Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts (Mio, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Genesee Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 60-44 non-league loss to Hillman (Hillman, MI).
