The Lumpkin County Indians basketball team (Dahlonega, GA), was nudged 57-54 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA)

The Bobcats now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host White County for a AAA Region 7 battle on Friday, December 15. Gilmer will confront a Warriors team coming off a 50-49 league loss to West Hall (Oakwood, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-7.

The Indians (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Pickens (Jasper, GA). The Dragons come into the AAA Region 7 battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Pickens edged Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA), 74-59, in a league battle.
