Newbury Park Adventist Gators (Newbury Park, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Glendale Adventist Cougars (Glendale, CA), 60-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Newbury Park Adventist upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Gators host Villanova Prep (Ojai, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Villanova Prep lost 49-22 in their recent non-league bout against Hueneme (Oxnard, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the San Jacinto Leadership Academy Lions (San Jacinto, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Glendale Adventist will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
