Illinois High School Basketball - Hall nipped by Mendota

The Mendota Trojans tipped the visiting Hall Red Devils basketball team by a final score of 52-49 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, December 13. Mendota will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 4-3 record after their 32-29 league loss to Ottawa (Ottawa, IL).

With the defeat, Hall falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Red devils host Princeton (Princeton, IL) to battle the Tigers in a Three Rivers - East battle on Friday, December 15. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 3-4. Princeton lost 61-56 in their recent non-league battle against Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL)
