The Holdingford Huskers basketball team scored 78 points and held the host Maple Lake Irish to 42 in the Huskers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Huskers now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sauk Centre for a AA Section 6 contest on Friday, December 15. Holdingford will meet a Mainstreeters team coming off a 62-60 non-league loss to West Central Area (Barrett, MN). The Mainstreeters record now stands at 3-1.

The Irish (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Lac qui Parle Valley was routed by Central Minnesota Christian (Prinsburg, MN), 66-57, in a league contest.
