The Hoxie Mustangs (Hoxie, AR) basketball knocked off the visiting Salem Greyhounds (Salem, AR), 56-46 in Tuesday's league test.

The Mustangs (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR). The Bobcats go into the 3A Region 2 test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Walnut Ridge notched a victory over Newport (Newport, AR), 75-58, in a league test.

The Greyhounds now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Maynard for a non-league test on Friday, December 15. Salem will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 61-41 non-league loss to Corning (Corning, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 9-9.
