Jackson Day Mariners (Charlotte, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Walnut Grove Christian Christian Warriors (Fort Mill, SC), 80-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Jackson Day upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Mariners host Valor Preparatory Academy (Concord, NC) to clash with the Owls in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Valor Preparatory Academy won 62-45 in their recent non-league bout against Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy (Huntersville, NC)

Next up, the Christian Warriors clash with the Lab University Prep Regional Lab Rats (Charlotte, NC) in a CSAA bout, on Monday, December 18. Walnut Grove Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Lab Rats go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 83-44 league loss to Shining Light Academy (Greensboro, NC).
