In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Mingo Central Miners basketball team scored a decisive 97-50 triumph over the Man Hillbillies.

In their next game, the Miners face the Tolsia Rebels (Fort Gay, WV) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 15. Mingo Central will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Rebels enter the match with a 4-1 record after their 87-40 league win over Van (Van, WV).

With the defeat, Man moves to 0-2 on the year. The Hillbillies host St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV) to face the Irish in a Freelance match on Friday, December 15. The Irish enter the match with a record of 0-0.
