The Murray Tigers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Marshall County Marshals to 39 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calloway County for a District 4 contest on Friday, December 15. Murray will battle a Lakers team coming off a 55-52 non-league loss to Webster County (Dixon, KY). The Lakers record now stands at 1-3.

Next up, the Marshals play the McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Marshall County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 71-63 non-league win over Mayfield (Mayfield, KY).
