Red Hill Salukis (Bridgeport, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Martinsville Bluestreaks (Martinsville, IL), 70-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Red Hill upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Salukis host Waltonville (Waltonville, IL) to clash with the Spartans in a Midland Trail bout on Saturday, December 16. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 8-0. Waltonville won 59-46 in their recent league bout against Woodlawn (Woodlawn, IL)

Next up, the Bluestreaks clash with the Farina South Central Cougars (Farina, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Martinsville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 49-35 non-league win over Ramsey (Ramsey, IL).
