Summit Shasta Black Bears (Daly City, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Oakwood Hawks (Morgan Hill, CA), 65-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Summit Shasta upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Black Bears travel to South San Francisco (South San Francisco, CA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Hawks play the Del Mar Dons (San Jose, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Oakwood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Dons go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 58-35 non-league loss to Harbor (Santa Cruz, CA).
