The Rainier Mountaineers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Onalaska Loggers to 34 in the Mountaineers league victory on Tuesday.

The Mountaineers now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Adna for a 2B Central contest on Thursday, December 14. Rainier will battle a Pirates team coming off a 69-67 league win over Wahkiakum (Cathlamet, WA). The Pirates record now stands at 5-0.

The Loggers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hoquiam (Hoquiam, WA). The Grizzlies go into the non-league bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Hoquiam was crushed by Aberdeen (Aberdeen, WA), 55-49, in a non-league bout.
