Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Penquis Valley Patriots (Milo, ME), 44-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Schenck upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME) to play the Howlers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Howlers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Penobscot Valley won 52-38 in their recent non-league bout against Lee Academy (Lee, ME)

Next up, the Patriots play the Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Penquis Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
