Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals (Sibley, IA), 46-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Sheldon upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Orabs host Unity Christian (Orange City, IA) to play the Knights in a Siouxland bout on Friday, December 15. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Unity Christian won 64-38 in their recent league bout against Okoboji (Milford, IA)

Next up, the Generals play the MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen (Orange City, IA) in a Siouxland bout, on Friday, December 15. Sibley-Ocheyedan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Dutchmen go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 51-48 league win over Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA).
