Sugar-Salem Diggers (Sugar City, ID) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Snake River Panthers (Blackfoot, ID), 63-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sugar-Salem upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Diggers travel to Star Valley (Afton, WY) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Star Valley lost 61-46 in their recent non-league bout against East (Cheyenne, WY)

Next up, the Panthers play the Kimberly Bulldogs (Kimberly, ID) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Snake River will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 48-45 non-league win over Jerome (Jerome, ID).
