The Warner Monarchs basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Aberdeen Christian Knights to 28 in the Monarchs league victory on Tuesday.

The Monarchs now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 16. Warner will battle a Battlers team coming off a 39-32 league loss to Highmore/Harrold (Highmore, SD). The Battlers record now stands at 0-2.

The Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD). The Titans come into the B Region 1 battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Leola/Frederick trounced Langford (Langford, SD), 41-37, in a league test.
