The Alba-Golden Panthers basketball team scored 35 points and restricted the host Como-Pickton Eagles to 31 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boles for a 2A Region II District 15 contest on Friday, December 15. Alba-Golden will battle a Hornets team coming off a 52-32 league loss to Cooper (Cooper, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 9-7.

The Eagles (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Cumby (Cumby, TX). The Trojans come into the 2A Region II District 15 contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Cumby edged North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX), 33-26, in a league contest.
