Albia Blue Demons (Albia, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Centerville Big Reds/Redettes (Centerville, IA), 64-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Albia upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Blue Demons travel to Pella Christian (Pella, IA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Pella Christian lost 62-29 in their recent league bout against Norwalk (Norwalk, IA)

Next up, the Big Reds/Redettes play the Knoxville Panthers (Knoxville, IA) in a South Central bout, on Friday, December 15. Centerville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 54-45 league loss to Chariton (Chariton, IA).
