The Appleton East Patriots basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Oshkosh North Spartans to 63 in the Patriots league victory on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Neenah for a Fox Valley contest on Friday, December 15. Appleton East will battle a Rockets team coming off a 72-37 league win over Kaukauna (Kaukauna, WI). The Rockets record now stands at 7-1.

The Spartans (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Appleton North (Appleton, WI). The Lightning come into the Fox Valley contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Appleton North prevailed over Oshkosh West (Oshkosh, WI), 44-43, in a league contest.
