Georgia High School Basketball - Echols County knocked off by Atkinson County

The Atkinson County Rebels basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Echols County Wildcats to 45 in the Rebels league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rebels now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Berrien for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Atkinson County will battle a Rebels team coming off a 56-37 non-league win over Irwin County (Ocilla, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 5-4.
The Wildcats (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Byne Christian (Albany, GA). The Saints enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Byne Christian was defeated by Trinity Christian (Dublin, GA), 97-15, in a non-league contest.
