The Kirby Trojans (Kirby, AR) basketball crushed the host Blevins Hornets (Blevins, AR), 56-33 in Tuesday's league test.
The Trojans (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Mineral Springs (Mineral Springs, AR). The Hornets go into the 1A Region 7 test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Mineral Springs was trounced by Spring Hill (Hope, AR), 66-41, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Mount Ida for a 1A Region 7 test on Thursday, December 14. Blevins will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 42-16 league loss to Bradley (Bradley, AR). The Lions record now stands at 4-4.
